Cindy Johnson is a senior .NET backend engineer with over fifteen years experience working for Fortune 50 companies developing software for the cloud, Windows, Unix, firmware platforms, and websites.

With a diverse programming background, Cindy has programmed in a plethora of languages, including, working back in time only so far, C#/.NET, Postgres, MS-SQL, Yaml, and HTML/CSS/Javascript. Being a techie and a perfectionist, she has adjusted more than one off-the-shelf WordPress theme with her own custom CSS and geeks out a little on software trends and best practices.

While you can view her full resume, you can also browse a longer history of her tech experience with this timeline of her background in technology.

Cindy also has an online portfolio developed on the side, including new topics on C#/.NET and older articles deploying an Ubuntu virtual machine with Ansible and yaml (tutorial here and code on Github). She also learned a little Rails and deployed a web app, Affirm.

She currently enjoys listening to podcasts such as Complete Developer and Coding Blocks and thinking through topics such as resilience as an engineer, being a leader by influence, systems thinking, diversity, and trade-offs between scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

In Lincoln she worked for Nebraska Book Company, then Spreetail. She appreciates life in a smaller city and loves working from home.
